HELPING THE OTHERS REALIZE THE ADVANTAGES OF ND:CE:YAG CRYSTAL

Radiation induced recharging of Ce3+ and Ce4+ ions in Ce and Nd doped yttrium-aluminium garnet crystals was observed. This impact depends on the Ce3+ ion focus and the type of ionizing radiation.The results demonstrate that the growth ambiance pressure has a far more significant influence on defect development when compared to the crystal rotation
